In this day and age when everyone can access their favorite stars on websites like Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace, some stars have started to use these medium to access their fans. Some stars use these sites to post what they’re doing, where they’re going, and try to get you to support their causes and venues. They are the rule, but there are exceptions, and they deserve to be recognized. There are a growing number of celebrities who are reaching out to their fans on a more personal level. They webchat live with fans, answer questions, send direct messages, etc. and one even opens up a phone line on Saturdays to chat with fans. They are acknowledging fans on a very personal level. In an exclusive interview with the multi-platinum recording artist; Phil Varone, former drummer of Skid Row. Phil, who’s in town getting his swing on… on the green that is. Helping raising funds for “Hilton Head Island Celebrity Golf Tournament“, which is an annual 3-day golf tournament, with all proceeds to be shared with various children’s charities. This is Varone’s first year playing in the HHI tournament, when asked if he’d come back next year, Phil quickly responded ”Defiantly I would love to come back, if they’ll have me.”
Varone’s philanthropy doesn’t stop there, Phil’s work with at-risk youth, is nothing more than phenomenal. Varone’s “Clear View Treatment Center” houses 30 boys, between the ages of 13-18, ” we have five houses, they are mostly court ordered, gang members and this is their last chance top get it together“, Phil shares with GAS. If that is not enough to overlook the once rehab-ed rock star with his hard core appearance, Phil Varone genuinely has a beautiful soul! With all of Phil’s commitments & projects across the map, Varone, who also makes sure that his time is evenly spread out amongst the issues near & dear to him, with twice a week visits to work locally with the homeless. Not your typical rock star at all. I found the drummer turned actor to be quite delightful.
Mark December 15th on your calendar ladies, you’ll get a chance to see an entirely new side of Phil Varone. Phil happily announced exclusively to GAS, that he recently got engaged to long time girl friend Achsha, “she is so far removed from the entertainment business, she is a real estate broker“, Phil replies. When asked about the big day, and if there were any plans in the near future to tie the knot, Phil shared “we are just enjoying the moment, probably in a year“, “where both in the lifestyle.”
When GAS inquired about how life is now, after his stint on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab, “I was in therapy for sex addiction, life is great”, Phil continues “Tiger Woods is not a sex addict, when I first heard he was in sex rehab, I laughed…Tiger’s in rehab for having sex with what 19 women? He’s not a sex addict, I was having sex with 19 women in a weekend, I’m a rock star.”
That’s not all Varone’s cooking up, the “Rock Star Recipes” cookbook is on it’s way to a kitchen near you. The cookbook features various rock stars, who will share their favorite recipes with us. While rocking out in the kitchen, readers will be able to listen to their best-loved rock hits that have toped the charts over the years, with a CD that will accompany the book. Phil opened up about his passion for writing, ” I left the music scene to pursue acting and writing, I even do comedy”, “I have also started blogging for a site called thecomet.com.” Currently on the table for the mega rocker, are a variety of offers to host and star in some quite flavorful new television shows.

Ellia Kassoff is burning mad at Radar Online. Seems the online gossip site posted a copy of his eviction notice filed against Chris Volek (the man behind the $35 million lawsuit against heiress Paris Hilton), without bothering to protect his personal information. The full legal document can be found online with Mr. Kassoff’s address, telephone number, and e-mail address. According to a friend of Ellia Kassoff, he has discussed legal action against Radar Online with his attorney. It is possible for anyone to get copies of legal documents, however, Ellia Kassoff is a landlord evicting a renter, not a celebrity. He was not aware that his personal information would be published for all the world to see. Celebrities use lawyers when filing their paperwork. This protects the privacy of their personal information, as the attorney’s business information would be listed, not their client’s information. Ellia Kassoff was unaware that his documents would be made public and chose to file the paperwork without an attorney. Sensationalism beat out common sense and Radar Online published the documents in full without any regard to the privacy of a private individual.
Gossip Ain’t Sweet, was on the scene of the taping of Jeremy London’s Celebrity Intervention , for his next role playing an addict on VH1′s hit show Celebrity Retard Rehab Palm Springs, CA. Jeremy was staying at a local Holiday Inn. Guess the Viceroy wasn’t in the budget.
Dr. Drew’s intervention crew came to the hotel, and set up two doors down from London.

It’s one thing after another for TV actor, Jeremy London; first the alleged kidnapping on earlier this month, then the domestic violence call on the morning of June 22. Now, GAS has learned that London is facing a misdemeanor for a charge of knowingly driving on a suspended license filed on January 27, 2010 in Indio, California. He failed to appear in court or pay his fines by the March 11 deadline, so the presiding judge issued a bench warrant. His private attorney appeared in court without him on June 21 and entered a plea of not guilty. The judge lifted the warrant and released London on his own recognizance. He must appear in all further proceedings and is due back in court on July 22, 2010.

In a police press release received from Palm Springs Police Dept to Gossip Ain’t Sweet, Brandon Adams, 26 was arrested in Palm Springs, on Friday on suspicion of kidnapping, auto theft and possessing stolen property and said he was being held in a Riverside County jail in Banning. Adams was arraigned on June 15th and is currently chill’n the poky.
According to reports, the Party of Five star was allegedly kidnapped & held at gun point in Palm Springs last week, London was forced to drive around in his own car while being literally f***’ed with, and made a pit stop at the local mini mart to buy booze?

After his near death experience, a deadly heart problem that killed John Ritter. Deezer was in surgery for more than 6 hrs to have his aorta replaced and a leaking heart valve replaced back in July of 2009.
